Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Ecclesiastes 8:11    God is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance.

The Hebrew word for "executed" is Asah, meaning to do or make in the broadest sense and with the widest application. There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death, and there is no discharge in that war; neither wickedness deliver those that are given to it. All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt. And so I saw the wicked buried who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done. This is a vanity. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance. Though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before Him: But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; again, there be wicked men, to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.

God is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance. God is giving us time to repent and set our homes in order before He comes in judgment. Be quick to repent of your sins, and if you have stolen from others,  be ready to make restitution. For God has no pleasure in fools, so if you make a vow, be sure to keep it. Be not envious of the wicked when they prosper, for they will soon be brought down. In a moment, travail will come upon their souls. Therefore, warn the wicked man so that you will not be accountable for his blood. Jesus is coming to settle accounts, and He has told us that whatever is right, I will pay. When you do this, Jesus will say Well done, my good and faithful servant, enter thou into the presence of the Lord. Don't fret when the wicked man prospers, for at the appointed time he will be judged. Be not partakers in his sin. Learn how to dwell in the sanctuary of the Lord. For then will you see their end. Let not the sun go down on thine anger. Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath, for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of Christ. So wait upon the salvation of the Lord, and He shall sustain you.

  • #Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalms 55:22

The Hebrew word for sustain is Kuwl, meaning properly, to keep, to be able to abide, and make a provision for and provide sustenance.

God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God. He hath put forth His hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant. The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. But thou, O God, shall bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee. David has learned the secret to having peace and security. We must cast all our burdens upon Jehovah God, knowing that He will sustain thee, and never will He suffer the righteous to be moved. Isaiah 38:17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness; but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you are subject to one another and be clothed with humility; for God resisteth the proud, and gives grace to the humble. Be sober, and be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist stedfast in the faith,  knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, and settle you. This is my prayer for all of you, and to live at peace with all men, and be ye holy, saith the Lord.

  • #But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: Malachi 3:2. Jesus is getting us ready for that great day.

The Hebrew word for refiner's is Tsaraph, meaning to fuse (metal), i.e., refine, cast, goldsmith, melt, pure, and purge away. Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. Jesus is getting us ready for that great day, who shall be able to stand? And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in the former years. And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers, and false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not Me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jesus is getting us ready for that great day, and He will refine us as the goldsmith melts the dross out of gold and silver. The sons of Levi, he will purge them that they may offer unto Jehovah God an offering in righteousness. Make a straight path for the Lord, for He is coming in judgment to purge this world of sin, and we be as fullers' soap when He is through with us. Woe unto those sorcerers, adulterers, false swearers, and those that oppress the hireling in his wages. He will bring justice to the widow and the fatherless, and those who turn aside the stranger from his right. Weep and howl, you rich men, for the Day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night. Multitudes will be in the valley in decision. But He shall come with healing in His wings and righteousness shall be in His government. Jesus is getting us ready for that great, and we need to examine ourselves and make sure that we are in the faith. For He comes quickly, and His reward is with him, so make sure you are walking in righteousness and holiness. Be at peace with all men, and follow holiness, for without holiness, no man will see the Lord.

  • #Yet they seek Me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of Me the ordinances of justice; they delight in approaching to God. Isaiah 58:2

The Hebrew word for ordinance is Mishpat; for a verdict pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree of the law. Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? Wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labors. Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with such the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high. Is it such a fast that I have chosen? A day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day of the LORD? Isn't this the fast that I have chosen?

To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily, and thy righteousness shall go before thee, the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to all people. Come now, let us reason together, though your sins were scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Let us do the work of the Lord and live a righteous life, and He shall bless us to inherit the land. I praise God for His goodness and His mercy unto me, His servant. For the Lord He is Good, and His mercy endureth to all generations. I will declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. May we be blessed for doing the will of the Lord and seeking His justice.

  • #Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4

The Hebrew word for rod is Shebet. meaning a scion, i.e., a stick for punishing, writing, fighting, ruling, walking, etc. The Lord knows that all we like sheep have gone astray, each according to his way, so He has to correct us with the rod and staff to comfort us in our trials in life. Death is a valley that we all have to walk through, and David said I will fear no evil, because thou art with me. Despise not the chastening of the Lord for all those whom He loves, He chastens with the rod. So thank God for the many benefits of the rod, we should praise God that, like a good shepherd, He leads us in green pastures for His name's sake, and though we are walking in the shadow of death, we have nothing to fear, knowing shadows cannot hurt us, only at times frighten us. We know that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. The rod allows Him to comfort us in these days, so that we have nothing to fear.

Death is the last enemy Jesus destroyed on the cross. Oh, death, where is thy sting? Grave, where is thy victory? For the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law, but thanks be unto God who gives us the victory in our Lord Jesus Christ. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. This is what the rod does for us, and that is why it is so comforting to us. Thank God that He comforts us and restores us with His rod. The Hebrew word for staff is "Mish," meaning "support."

God is supporting and comforting us with His rod and staff, and guiding us through the valley of the shadow of death. What better hope can we have than this? The God of all comfort has provided for all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus our Lord. So if the doctor has said we cannot operate, then trust God that through His rod and staff He will comfort us and prepare us for our heavenly home. Jesus said Let not your hearts be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in Me, for in my Father's house are many mansions. And if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go, I will come again and take you with Me. Praise God for these words of comfort and hope, and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

  • #But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:13 Endure hardships

The Greek word for seducers is Goes, meaning a wizard. Endure hardships because of all the wizards out there seeking to deceive you. But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of living, purpose, faith, charity, patience, persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured; but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Endure hardships is what Paul is telling the young minister Timothy to do. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Endure hardships as Paul did, for he was stoned and left for dead at Iconium, and out of all these persecutions, the Lord delivered him, and He will deliver you and me if we will put all our trust in Him.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: so that the man of God can be perfect unto all good works. Endure hardships, because you will be hated by the world for being a good Christian; therefore, do not mind them for attacking you. They will hate the righteous person, so do not think it strange that they will isolate you and leave you alone. Thank the Lord that He has promised never to leave us or to forsake us, and to be with us until the end of the age. When my dad was a Pastor, he had a deacon who kept saying Reverend George, tis is getting worse and worse, and where this thing is going only God can tell, He was very wise for saying these things, and it is much worse today. I am fighting scams and family members who are forsaking me, but God has delivered me out of all these trials as He promised. It is my prayer that you will endure hardships as a good soldier of Jesus Christ and put on the whole armor of God to stand against all the wiles of the devil. Have nothing to do with wizards and sorcery, for all these wicked things are increasing more and more. For we will all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ to answer for the things done in the body, good and bad.

  • #But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6  The reward of Faith

The Greek word for diligently is Ekzetee, for to search out and investigate. Hebrews 11 is known for the Hall of Faith, and those who diligently seek God will find Him. The reward of Faith is to have your visions and dreams come true. Through faith we understand that the world was framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things that do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts, and by it he, being dead, yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him. Before his translation, he had this testimony that he pleased God. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed, and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, but not seen. The reward of faith is that God is pleased with us when we walk by faith. Now faith without works is dead. So true faith will have works to demonstrate our belief in the word of God. We know that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. It is time for us to move out on faith, knowing that God will reward us for trusting in His word. Faith is like electricity; you cannot see the negatively charged electrons and positively charged electrons in a circuit, but when you turn the switch on, the light appears. We, too, must turn the switch on in our minds to believe in God, and it will be counted as righteousness for us.

The reward of Faith is that God will be glorified in our lives when we walk by faith. Every day we must take steps of faith, not knowing what the outcome of our actions will be, but trusting God will work all things together for good, to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. For God makes all things beautiful in His time and has placed eternity within our hearts. My prayer for you today is that you will step out in faith and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and then attend church and be baptized.

  • #And David was greatly distressed: for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters; but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. 1 Samuel 30:6  Be encouraged in the Lord thy God

The Hebrew word for encouraged is Chazaq, meaning to fasten upon and seize, being strong. So David and his men came to the city, and behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives. Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep. And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite. And David said to Abiatar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David. And David enquired at the LORD, saying Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And He answered him, pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. So David went and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed.

Be encouraged in the Lord thy God, just as David was and prayed to the Lord God for wisdom about what to do, and the Lord told him to pursue this troop. We are told to come before the throne of grace and mercy, to receive help for all our needs. Jehovah God will never fail us, no matter how dark the days may be; we just have to be encouraged in the Lord thy God. David was about to be stoned by the people, but God gave him the fortitude to seize back what had been taken from them. If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives freely. No matter how bad the situation may look, I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Weeping may be for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Be encouraged in the Lord thy God, as David was, and you will not fail either. May the Lord sink this message of hope into your souls, and be encouraged in the Lord thy God, for He is good and His mercy endures forever. The Lord my God shall lead me in the victory, and He did for David in over-taking the troops. Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might, and be encouraged in the Lord thy God.

  • #But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Trust in the Lord with all your heart

The Greek word for supply is Pleroo, meaning to fully and completely satisfy, and execute or finish. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift, but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto thy understanding, but in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy pathway. Now unto God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you. All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household. The Lord fully and completely executes again and again for my necessity. We should never worry about our needs, for our God supplies all our needs. Salute all the brethren and remind them of these truths. May we abound more and more in our faith in the Lord so that those who are without will glorify the Lord for meeting our needs. I cannot tell you how many times God has delivered me out of trouble, this poor man cried, and the Lord saved me from all my trials. I will trust and obey, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus than to trust and obey, as the great hymn of the Church goes. Sing unto the Lord and praise His name forevermore. For God is good, and His mercy is everlasting. I will give thanks unto the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures to all generations.

We are the sweet aroma of Christ to those who are saved, and a bad aroma to those who are lost. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and never doubt His promises. For we say yes, and Amen to His glory. My prayer for you is not to worry about the budget cuts, but thank God for removing the waste from our budgets, and meeting all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus—our Lord. Wait upon the Lord patiently and He will fulfill all of His promises. My God shall give you the desires of your heart, and meet your needs. Praise Him today, and give Him all the glory.

  • #Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalms 27:14 Be of good courage

The Hebrew word for courage is Chazaq, meaning to fasten upon, to seize, and be strong. Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. Deliver me not over onto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. Be of good courage, and wait upon the LORD. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Just wait upon Jehovah God, and Be of good courage, for He shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say upon the Lord, this poor man cried, and the Lord delivered him from all his troubles. Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and mount up with wings like an eagle, and walk and not faint, and run and not be weary. Be of good courage, and fasten upon the hope of the word of God, who promises never to leave us, or to forsake us, and will be with us until the end of the age. Count it all joy when you fall into diverse trials, and temptations, knowing that the trying of our faith produces patience. So be of good courage and wait on the Lord, for all of His promises are yes, and we say Amen to His glory. Whatever you are going through, Be of good courage, and the Lord will strengthen you. Be strong in the Lord, and the power of His might. We have these promises as an anchor to our soul. Remember the words, if it had not been the Lord on my side, where would I be? Thank the Lord and give Him the glory, for He alone is worthy of all of our praises. My prayer is for the peace of Jerusalem, for they shall prosper who do so. Jesus is coming soon, so make sure your lamps are full of oil. Do not procrastinate, but wait, I say, on the Lord. Be of good courage and He will strengthen thine heart. Continue to ask God for wisdom, and He will give it to you.
