Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18

We can count it all joy when we fall into diverse trials and tribulations knowing that the trying of our faith produces patience for the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. So we can be sure God is making us look just like Jesus and when we shall come forth, as Job said as pure gold. Thank God for your troubles and do not complain. The Greek word for workmanship is Poema; for masterpiece. We are the masterpieces of the Lord and we show forth His glory when we suffer for His name sake. Paul called these light and momentary afflictions that we go through are working a far more exceeding work of glory in us. So thank the Lord that He counts us worthy to suffer for His name's sake.

  • #Let him that stole steal no more but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Ephesians 4:28

The Greek word for steal is Klepto; A primary verb to filch. Leviticus 19:11 Ye shall not steal, either deal falsely, neither tell lies one to another. 1 Samuel 12:3 Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD and before His anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it to you. Jesus commended Zacchaeus Luke 19:8 and Zacchaeus stood and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. Stealing is the one commandment once broken, you must repent and make restitution. That is why the Lord Jesus commended Zacchaeus for restoring what he had defrauding others of, and giving to the poor. Tax collectors were hated for defrauding the people, and Jesus told Zacchaeus to come down from the tree and to have dinner with Him. Jesus paid His taxes and did not owe any as a Son of King David. We can learn how to please God, that is why Paul told the Ephesians not to steal, but rather to work with their hands, the thing that is good, so they could give to the poor. If your job requires you to lie and steal from others to make a profit, then you need to leave that job and find one that will allow you to make an honest occupation. All work is profitable, but the folding of the hands leads to poverty. Consider the ant that stores up in the summer for the winter. We must save and have an emergency fund so that we can give and meet our needs. God is a buckler for the poor, and He will fight for them. Let those who are taking advantage of the wildfires in California know that they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The thief on the cross, repented of his sins, by asking Jesus to remember me, when you come into your kingdom. Jesus said this day, shalt thou be with Me in Paradise. Acknowledge your sin, and turn away from it, and the blood of Jesus will blot out all your transgressions. So if you are scamming people, repent of this sin and restore fourfold, so that salvation will come unto your household as it did for Zacchaeus.

  • #Why art thou cast down O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance. Psalm 42:5

The Hebrew word for countenance is Panim or Paneh; for the face or faces. It can be plural or singular. The Psalmist is asking two great questions and Jehovah God has the answers. Hope thou in God. People facing mental illness often feel hopeless and without help. I tell them this Psalm is one of the greatest to turn to when you feel this way. It has helped me to overcome depression and loneliness. We are often misunderstood, and not accommodated. They would rather just put us in a mental hospital and give us more medication than we need, and all we need is to be loved and cared for. God loves us with everlasting love and sent His Son to die on the cross for our sins. Psalm 69 is about the suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ and how He felt like an alien, and a stranger to His mother's children. For He was despised and rejected a man of sorrows and acquainted with our grief. That is why He is now seated in the heavens making intercession for us at the Father's right hand. So hope thou in God, no matter how you feel, or where you find yourself. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I am gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept the holyday. This is how we overcome by waiting on God with the multitude in the house of God. The Psalmist in 73 said my feet had well nigh slipped when I thought of the prosperity of the wicked, then I went to the sanctuary of God and saw their end. Wait I say on the Lord and look to His face for consolation. He is our help and our consolation in all our troubles. Give thanks unto God for delivering your feet from stumbling. Praise God at the midnight hour, and sing hymns unto Him. For He alone is holy and righteous and will satisfy our every longing. King David said for I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. What a promise and what a great hope to have. Pray for all those who lost homes in the Palisades wildfires in California. Be willing to give to the Red Cross to help them.

  • #Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain Psalm 76:10

The Hebrew word for wrath; is Chemah; for rage, anger, poison, hot displeasure, furiously, from Yacham; for heat and to conceive. Psalm 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.  King David was angry after Nathan told him the story of the rich man taking the poor man's lamb, and Nathan said thou art the man, Then David was contrite and prayed for the Lord to purge me with the hyssop, which speaks of the blood of Jesus. How God causes man's wrath to praise Him, and then He restrains the remainder of wrath. We wonder why evil men prosper and seem to get away with defrauding others. God has appointed a day when He will judge all mankind by that Man Christ Jesus. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. We must do as King David and throw ourselves on the mercy of God. God's mercy is everlasting, and His anger is only for a moment. So let everything that hath breath praise the Lord, for He turns the evils into good for all those who love Him, and are called according to His purpose. Just rejoice in the Lord always, and give thanks in all things, for this is the will of God for us in Christ Jesus. It is my prayer that you will come to faith in the Lord today, and call upon Him. For God's patience will not last forever. When you hear His voice harken, and turn away from your sins and cling to the cross. What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Create in me a clean heart, and restore the right spirit in me.

  • #And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Luke 21:25,26

The Greek word for signs is Semeion; for a sign, a token, a miracle, and a wonder. Universally, that by which a person or thing is distinguished from others and known. We are seeing climate change cause extreme weather conditions with the Polar Vortex in the Midwestern and Eastern Gulf coast causing cold weather. Fires in the West cost with the Santa Anna winds blowing over 100 mph burning homes and buildings. This is causing firefighters to have to work around the clock trying to put out the fires. Then 2024 was the hottest temperature on record, more PBS for a particularly bad situation. Just as Jesus said it would be on the Mount Olivet discourse when the disciples asked Him what shall be the sign of thy coming, and the end of the world. Jesus said there shall be wars, and earthquakes in diverse places, famines, pestilences, and false prophets. These shall be the beginnings of sorrows, but the end is not yet. When you see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place, then run for the mountains. We are told to lift up our heads for our redemption draweth nigh. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. We are living in the last Days and all that is left for the Church to be raptured, for God will not punish the righteous with the wicked. God will seal 144,000.00 Jewish Evangelists who will preach the gospel of the coming kingdom, and two witnesses will preach and fire will come out of their mouths, then they will be killed and their bodies will lay in the street for three days, then God will raise them from the dead and they will be raptured to heaven. Jesus said when the Son of man comes back, will He find faith on the earth? The answer is no, there will be total apostasy. Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, for there is coming a day when God will not strive with men.

  • #And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people. Genesis 49:33

We thank God for former President Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States of America, a Peace Prize winner, a champion of Civil Rights, and Habitat For Humanity. Most importantly He taught us how to be a servant. Jesus said the greatest among us shall be a servant of all. Jimmy Carter was the best president for all the things he did after leaving the White House. He loved all people, and the Scripture tells us by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples by the love that you have one for the other. We thank God that he is now in heaven rejoicing with First Lady Rosalynn Carter at the feet of Jesus. Just as Jacob left a godly legacy for his children, so did Jimmy Carter and they will have a lifetime to finish the work that he did in Plains Georgia. Saving the environment from climate change, and continuing to keep the faith that he passed on to them. The United States has come together in a bi-partisan way to unite around the legacy of Jimmy Carter and we thank God for this. We pray for President-Elect Trump to continue this unity in his administration. The Hebrew word for ghost is Gava; for to expire, and as Jimmy Carter lived 100 years as the longest President, he has yielded up a great legacy for all of us to learn how to love our brothers and sisters as God has commanded us. Hear O Israel this is the first and great commandment that thou would love the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind, and soul, and the second is like unto it, thou must love thy neighbor as thyself. We can do this just like Jimmy Carter did all his life, and when we are gathered at the end of commanding our children, we too can yield up our spirit to the Lord.

  • #For who hath despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the land of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth. Zechariah 4:10

The Hebrew word for plummet is Eben; for a stone; from the root of Banah; for to build. Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The Lord Jesus called Peter Cephus, for stone, and He said on this stone I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail. Though all hell is coming against the church, it still stands, for Jesus is the cornerstone that the builders rejected and has become the head of the corner on which all the stones are connected. Therefore do not despise the day of small things. I won the $5 lotto from Purchase Clearing House and I thank God for this. I was told I won the $13,000,000 Lottery from A.M.P.G and have spent over thousands of dollars and still have yet to collect it. So you see it is easy to collect small things. God owns the cattle on a thousand hills and He has His seven for the eyes of Jehovah that run to and fro through the whole earth. We will rejoice in the Lord, for He makes all things right and will punish those who lie and deceive others. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, but the fear of man is a snare. Jesus told us not to fear man for all he can do is destroy the body, but God can destroy body and soul in the Lake of Fire which is hell. So who will you fear? I say fear the Lord and keep His commandments. For His commandments are not burdensome. Speak the truth to your fellow man and do not defraud. For we must all stand before the Judgment seat of Christ and give an account of the things done in the body, good and bad. Thank God for small things, for Jesus said what is right I will pay, Genesis 49:24 But His bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel) Jesus is the Shepherd of Israel and He is coming back to set up His kingdom and rule with an iron rod. Make sure you are doing the will of God, for He will dash into pieces all those who speak lies and do not the truth.

  • #In the evening she went and on the morrow, she returned into the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king's chamberlain, who kept the concubines: she came in unto the king no more, except the king delighted in her, and that she was called by name. Esther 2:14

The Hebrew word for concubines; is Pilegesh; meaning a paramour. And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women's house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her. Now when every maid's turn has come to go into king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odors and with other things for the purifying of the women) Then thus came every maiden unto the king: whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house. So Esther was taken unto King Ahasuerus into his royal house in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti. This book is about the providence of God, and how He used Esther, to save the Jewish people from genocide. The name of God is not mentioned in this book, but the hand of God moves and causes King Ahasuerus to love Esther above all the virgins. Who knows but God has called Esther to come into the kingdom for such a time as this. The Jews celebrate Purim, to remember what Esther did in saving the Jews. God works in mysterious ways, and when it seems like God is not moving pray to Him for He makes all things beautiful in His time. Mordecai was right to enter Esther into the beauty contest, and God in His providence used that to promote Esther. Promotion comes neither from the East nor the West, promotion comes from the Lord. So wait on the Lord for He makes all things beautiful in His time. For we know all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. So praise God in all things and give thanks in every situation for this is the will of God for us in Christ Jesus.

  • #Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turns not away; neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold. Deuteronomy 17:17

The Hebrew word for multiply is Rabah; for to be or become much, many, or great. Solomon was the wisest man to live on the earth and the book of Proverbs has all his wisdom. However, the book of Ecclesiastes records all of his vanity in which he said all is vanity. Jehovah God warned Israel when they appointed a king of their brethren, they were not to multiply horses, wives, or silver and gold greatly. Solomon did all these things and God said his heart was not after King David his father who was a man after God's heart. 1 Kings 11:1-4 But King Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites; of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go into them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines, and his wives turned away his heart. When Solomon was old, it came to pass that his wives turned away his heart after other gods, and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. The Hebrew word for perfect is Shalem; for complete, safe, and at peace. This word is similar to Shalom, for when you walk with God as King David did, you are Shalem, and have Shalom in the kingdom. King David gave a united kingdom unto Solomon, but all these wives took away his Shalem, and he had no Shalom in his heart toward Jehovah God. This is a lesson for us as to why we are not to practice polygamy or polytheism. The Lord thy God is a jealous God, and thou shalt not have any other gods beside Him. When we practice monogamy, our hearts are united to worship only the Lord.
