Joseph is in grief as he wants to reveal himself to his brothers but this is the last test that he gives his brothers to prove themselves. O that men would praise the Lord, for His goodness and wonderful works to the children of men. Jacob is about to go down to the grave in sorrow. Job said man born of a woman is of a few days, and they are full of trouble. Job was a contemporary of Abraham, so Jacob should have known him.

This was nothing short of rape what Shechem did to Dinah, although he felt like it was love for the damsel he committed a heinous crime. The brothers of Dinah would later avenge her rape. It could have been prevented if those brothers had walked with her in the first place, so she could not have been taken. I am thankful that I was able to protect my daughters from boys that may have been aggressive towards them because I was home with them. My presence in the home kept would be boys away who would do them harm, and this is the blessing of a father who is to be a covering for his daughter until he gives her away in marriage. I pray that more fathers will fulfill their role in the family as protectors and coverings for their daughters to protect them from such a tragedy as what happened to Dinah.

Isaac made the same mistake his father Abraham made with Sarah yet God was merciful and warned Abimelech to charge his people not to touch Isaac or Rebekah, lest they be put to death. God will cause the wicked people to do His will when you cry out to God for mercy.

Thank God for that marriage or divorce that may seem to separate you, yet it does not for God is greater than all these things. Continue to love and pray for your spouse out of the house, and let them know that God will make a way for you when there seems to be no way. Now that most have made their resolutions, don't be angry when you fail to keep them. This is why our words should be few.
#The gas bill was $20 dollars and the electric bill $68 so combined they were $88 which was done using two portable heaters set at 68 degrees. My house is 2340 square feet, so this is good. Also used the fireplace a little bit to supplement the heat. So saving energy is always a good thing.
#Well, last month;s electric bill was $107 and this month is $68. So the portable A/C heaters are doing the job to conserve energy set at 68 degrees. It is quite comfortable once you get use to it. It pays to save when you can save.
